An introduction to wholecloth design. Learn how to draw feather designs, how to transfer them on to fabric, and quilt them.
Create a Wholecloth machine Trapunto cushion panel in two colours:
A wholecloth doesn't have to be only one colour!
Learn how to machine Trapunto in two colours for a totally different effect.
Zip it and Pipe it!:
Make your orphaned block into a beautifully finished cushion. You will learn how to do piping and to professionally insert a zip. I will also show you how to do continuous single or double piping around a quilt for that extra special finish.
You will gain an insight into dyeing for the petals, make your own bias binding for the stems, and learn some applique methods
Design and mark out a wholecloth cot quilt. (30” x 40”).

Design your own unique wholecloth bed quilt:
Learn how to to design anything from a Cot Quilt to a Bed Quilt, the choice is yours. The more time we have, the more I can show you - and I’ll guide you through the whole process step by step. You’ll learn how to make your own unique pattern using everyday objects as part of the design process, and, if time allows, transfer it to your chosen material and begin quilting.
Clearly any of the skills learned on my courses may be used with other patchwork projects. Use your imagination and ingenuity.
